What is your favorite memory of 2013?

Besides Christmas, my favorite time of year is New Year's Eve! Usually, my parents, sister and I go to the InterContinental hotel alone. But this year, we had two special guests: My crazy cousins Kevin and Brian! We love each other very much! But the thing I'm stressing about is my New Year's Resolutions! Here are some good ones:

LEARNING TO TWERK WITHOUT PANTING

TO STOP FARTING IN CLASS

LOSE 20 POUNDS

OK, that's good resolutions if you're overweight. For skinny kids:

TRY TO ACTUALLY DO A PULL-UP

ACTUALLY EAT YOUR FOOD

NOT FART ONCE EVER!

STAY WHERE YOU ARE WITH YOUR WEIGHT

Hot Spots

The sun is beating drastically. Waves are crashing. You slump into your hotel bed saying: " Is this a good vacation?"

Summer us great. But it only lasts 104 days. You want to live it to the best, right? Here are a few vacation hot spots. 

FLORIDA

Florida is an easy choice. Theme parks, beaches, sport teams and buildings. Florida is an amazing spot, period. 

CALIFORNIA

Just like Florida, but instead of skyscrapers, they have mountains and hills. California is a strong choice. 

WYOMING

Wyoming has Yellowstone Park, water rafting, mountains and many friendly stores. Wyoming is the perfect place to just kick back and go down a river in a raft.

Bullying: A Two-Way Street

When you think of someone getting bullied, you think a poor, helpless kid. But what if it was one of your best friends?

        You'd be shocked, right? Who wouldn't want to be upset? Now pretend the victim IS your best friend, even if  he or she isn't. It's almost absolutely necessary to help. Even if you make a website and mention someone in a bad way is considered bullying. Even if you don't mean it, it can be bullying if: 

You physically hurt.

Call someone a name like "stupid" or "moron" or even worse. 

Go behind his or her back.

Make website and tease person on it. 

Text someone or email someone and tease person. 

Etc.

         If you know someone who does any of those things to you, your friends or even your enemies and people you don't know, report it to an adult. There are much worse things that some kids do, but I  want to keep your dreams good and not send you a virtual nightmare. Bottom line: Bullying is never cool. Sometimes, the bully does it because they're scared of you. For more info, Cartoon Network and CNN made a documentary called "The Bully Project" you can watch online or occasionally on TV.

BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING

         Blood spilled on to the streets. One of America's toughest cities in panic. Terrorists watching the fire, cackling. Why is this happening? Let me take you to a virtual tour to Boston. There's a huge marathon located there called the... Well, "The Boston Marathon"! Some terrorists found out about this came up with a disgusting yet clever plan. At 2:50, when someone crossed the line, a bomb exploded, injuring over 50 and killing 2. My prayers go to the victims and their families. The marathon starts in Hopkinson, Massachusetts and finishes in Boston, Massachusetts. One of my sister's friends uncle just finished before the explosion. Witnesses say it was loud and panic ran through the streets.
        There are a few questions that this marathon gives clues to. First, is America safe? Probably not. Newtown. 9-11. Now this! Second, who did this? Probably Iraq, because lately, America has had some conflicts with them. Finally, what has been the worst event of the 21st century? So many answers. This, 9-11, Newtown, etc! I gotta give it to Newtown, because 26 CHILDREN died. This involved just 2 deaths. 9-11 was mainly adults. Either way, America needs to man up... Or else.

Ever get so bored of things?

I have two things to say: it could be worse and I have some recommendations. First: it could be worse! Imagine if you were a beetle. They eat poop, walk around and that's all. Or you could be a rock. Do NOTHING all day long. See? It can be worse. Now, my recommendations. 

WEBSITES

www.helpanimalsendangered.blogspot.com: Ran by one of my best friends, Nicole Marcus, this website gives information about endangered animals and how to save them plus polls.

www.rainbowpoopy33.blogspot.com: Also ran by Nicole, this is a hilarious website with polls, funny videos, etc!

Coolmath: I know practically everyone knows about Coolmath. Games, lessons, etc, its the perfect website with games!

LOCATIONS

GameTime: Replaced by GameWorks at Sunset Place and many other places, this area is a modern arcade with some motion simulators. I love it!

A Local Park: Who doesn't love an area where you can bike, play sports, climb trees or take a stroll?

GAMES

Temple Run: If you have an Apple mobile device, the chase is on! Collect coins to unlock special power ups and new characters.

Pocket God: Same device needed as Temple Run. Control your own land with 6 to 8 inhabitants! Play games, toss them off a cliff, even make clips! Pocket God rocks.

Now if you say your bored after this, then I guess you'll never be happy.

The Heat is on!

If you're a Miami resident, you'll love this story. Celtics fan? Move on. The Miami Heat are on a roll. They've clinched the top seed in the whole NBA and were 6 games short of tying the longest win streak ever.. Here are some keys in my opinion. Chris "Birdman" Andersen, born on 7/7/78 and a graduate from Blinn JC college has been a colossal hustle effort. He also puts up monster scoring. If the Heat created a Big Four, he'd be in it. Obviously, the Big 3 are keys. LBJ, D-Wade and Chris Bosh aren't a key; they're the reason. Mario Chalmers has become a severe hustler. He has potential to become someone like Chris Paul! Last, but not least, Shane Battier is proud to be a member of the Heat. So he's making the best of it with wicked 3-point shooting and monster shooting.
